Keepings Dogs Out Of Your Flower Beds with a Dog Training Collar

Thursday, 03, April 2008

Seeing your pet covered in soil is enough to have an alarm set-off in your head, for a second you deny it, but your pet has really been busy digging. Walking outdoors to check where and how far your furry pet has gone, you cross your fingers and hope that it isn't your prized Rose bush or the plot of soil with several flowering plants that took you months to get flowering. Whether your pet had gotten into the flower bed or not, stopping this kind of behavior is needed. As a pet owner, our pet's training totally rely on us and no one else.

Training aids like an invisible fence and a dog training collar, when used appropriately keeps your pet away from the flower bed or vegetable garden permanently.

The electric dog fence makes an unseen border with electrical wires that run underground. This set comes with marker flags to have your pets recognize the "No Pets" place which  means going beyond your property and into the flower and plant beds. The underground wiring of the invisible fence goes around the area you'd want to protect and the perimeter of your lot to keep your pet in sight.    When a pet is used to the markings, it is time the dog training collar is set to the lowest setting, and tried out. On the contrary, the dog training collar is just the source of correction and not a license to hurt your pet dogs. Running the wiring towards the dog beds is not tricky at all a twist both wires together to short an electrical charge. The wire twists are applied to areas where your pets are allowed to stay on.

Invisible pet fences work with dog training collars, as soon as your pet gets near the flowers a beep emits from the collar to warn your pet about the correction that may come next if they   do get in the flower bed. Not only flower beds are safe from your pets, a part of your back yard can be dig-free too. The back yard is a convenient place for a small vegetable plot to be started. To have a pet distinguish between its allowable digging space and the "No Pet" vegetable plot, your pet receives the same warning and correction. The wiring used for the front area of your home may or not be the same source as the wires at your back yard,  but there is no need to change your pet's dog training collar since it still works on a 2nd system of the same brand as the 1st.

Keeping your pet dog out of your prized flower beds or your spectacular fountain garden is guaranteed with an invisible pet fence set. Your dog training collar that comes with it keeps your pet at a distance with its warning beeps and a electrode correction it will not forget. Bark collars can also be very beneficial to owners who are only looking to manage their pets behavior and not necessarily their wondering.
